Statement 1 SB 5132 - This bill is intended to close the RHCs. It is a power grab by the executive branch to remove RHCs, and other facilities from the RCWs. This will enable the governor to close facilities without consulting the legislature.  It also prohibits people under 21 from living in an RHC.
Statement 1 SB 5596 - Requiring the DSHS to submit a demonstration waiver request to revise the federal Medicaid programs. Could effect future of RHCs.
