SB 5943 - This
bill would close the Morgan Center and ban minors from any RHC
and more. April/2011
SB 5132 - This
bill is intended to close the RHCs. It is a power grab by the executive branch
to remove RHCs, and other facilities from the RCWs. This will enable
the governor to close facilities without consulting the
legislature. It also prohibits people under 21 from
living in an RHC.
SB 5596 - Requiring the
DSHS to submit a demonstration waiver request to revise the federal
Medicaid programs. Could effect future of RHCs.
SB 5459 -
Now signed in to law, this
bill will close FHMC, and remove RHCs, from the RCWs.
Further restrictions are applied to People with DD who wish
to reside in an RHC. It also prohibits people under 21 from
living in an RHC, and more.
